It was billed as a holiday show - Thanksgiving Weekend - 1964. Jan and Dean were a no-show, but the Shangri-Las, Jay and the Americans and Gino Washington were great warm-up acts. And then there were those California surfers and hot-rodders - The Beach Boys.

The number one song(s) - "I Feel Fine" and "She's a Woman" by the Beatles. Number 2 was "The Wedding" by Julie Rogers (?).
